Matt Danner

Emmy award winner Matt Danner is a well-established Director/Writer, Executive Producer, and Creator in the animation industry. He has worked with Disney, 20th Century Studios, Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Mattel, among other studios. His overall development deals have spawned multiple hit series.

Matt recently directed the animated feature, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, for Shawn Levy and 20th Century Studios. He has also directed three feature length films for the HOT WHEELS franchise for Mattel.

Matt has just completed season three of Disney Junior’s MUPPET BABIES as the Executive Producer, Supervising Director, and Writer. He also spearheaded the development for the entire series. Matt won an Emmy in 2020 for Outstanding Performer in a Preschool Animated Program for voicing KERMIT THE FROG. Along with Kermit, he voices ROWLF THE DOG, WALDORF, BEAKER and SWEDISH CHEF.

For television, Matt has worked on the iconic THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW, NEW MICKEY MOUSE, and GRAVITY FALLS. Other credits include XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN, DAN VS, JOHNNY TEST, WANDER OVER YONDER, DONALD DUCK: LEGEND OF THE THREE CABALLEROS, YOGI BEAR, JETSONS, FLINTSTONES, SCOOBY DOO, WWE SLAM CITY, MUCHA LUCHA, and Adult Swim’s THE DRINKY CROW SHOW.

Besides animation, Matt was the author on an illustrated novel that Fantagraphics published entitled SOCK MONKEY: INTO THE DEEP WOODS.
